About the Role
A VIP family on Jumeirah Bay Island, Dubai is seeking an experienced and compassionate daytime Maternity Nurse for a 6-month placement following the birth of their child. With night care handled by a separate night nanny, this role focuses exclusively on daytime newborn care, routine establishment, nursery management, and physical/emotional postpartum support for the mother.
Key Responsibilities
Day-Time Newborn Care & Routine:
Provide complete daytime care including feeding, burping, diaper changes, bathing, temperature monitoring, and equipment sterilization.
Support and establish healthy daytime feeding, sleep routines, wake windows, and naps.
Postpartum & Developmental Support:
Guide and support the mother with soothing practices, lactation, and routine development while respecting family preferences.
Keep nursery areas clean and sanitized; handle baby laundry, linens, and accessories.
Monitor feeding/sleep patterns, track milestones, and maintain regular communication with parents.
Ideal Candidate
Several years of experience as a Maternity Nurse or Newborn Care Specialist in private households.
First Aid, CPR, and Maternity Practitioner/Lactation certifications preferred.
English fluency with a warm, patient, highly organized, and detail-oriented approach.
