About the Role
A private household in Sohar, Oman is seeking an attentive, responsible, and proactive Live-In Nanny to manage the daily routines and care for their child.
The nanny will oversee the child’s morning and evening routines, assist with school preparation, support academic progress, and accompany the child to activities while maintaining high standards of care, discretion, and professionalism. Housekeeping duties are not required for this position.
Key Responsibilities
School & Daily Routines:
Attentive and available from 6:30 AM to assist with the child’s morning and school routines.
Pre-prepare lunch and school necessities the night before to ensure a seamless morning transition.
Manage dinner time, evening schedules, and bedtime routines consistently.
Academic & Activity Support:
Assist the child with homework, school projects, and academic responsibilities.
Accompany the child to extracurricular activities, appointments, and family events.
Organization & Care:
Keep the child’s bedroom, study areas, and play spaces clean, organized, and structured.
Strictly follow parental rules, preferences, and guidelines with an adaptable, flexible approach to schedule changes.
Ideal Candidate
Demonstrates exceptional care, responsibility, and emotional maturity when interacting with both child and parents.
Adaptable, patient, proactive, and respectful of private household boundaries and confidentiality.
Experienced in childcare, homework supervision, and structured routine management.
