Position Overview
A private household based in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai is seeking an experienced, professional and service-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to join their household on a long-term basis.
The family is specifically looking for someone who has previous experience working within a 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment. This is the number one requirement for the position.
The successful candidate should have an excellent understanding of high-standard cleaning, presentation and attention to detail, while also being comfortable providing a warm and professional service when guests visit the home.
This position goes beyond traditional housekeeping. The ideal candidate should be confident in welcoming guests, preparing and serving tea and coffee, assisting with breakfast preparation and carrying out basic cooking when required.
Previous cooking experience would be beneficial; however, the client is happy to guide and teach the successful candidate the specific dishes and food preparation required within the household.
The family is open to different nationalities and is primarily focused on finding someone with the right experience, professionalism, attitude and hospitality standards.
The position is expected to begin in September 2026.

โข Previous professional experience within a 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment is essential

Requirements

โข Maintain the residence to a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation
โข Carry out daily cleaning throughout the household
โข Ensure bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas and common spaces are maintained to an excellent standard
โข Follow cleaning practices and standards expected within a 5-star hotel or luxury residence
โข Dust, vacuum, mop and clean household surfaces thoroughly
โข Ensure bathrooms and guest areas are always clean, organised and well presented
โข Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout the residence
โข Keep household items and designated areas organised
โข Ensure cleaning supplies and household essentials are properly maintained and stored
โข Identify areas requiring additional cleaning or attention without needing constant instruction
โข Maintain excellent hygiene standards throughout the home

โข Professionally and warmly welcome guests arriving at the residence

โข Maintain the presentation and hospitality standards expected within a luxury private household
โข Remain attentive to guests while respecting the family's privacy and preferences
