About the Role

Location: Jumeirah Bay Island, Dubai
Position Type: Full-Time, Live-Out or Live in
Schedule: 6 days per week
Working Hours: 08:00 AM – 08:00 PM, with breaks provided during the day (coordinated around the baby’s routine)
Duration: 6 months
Start Date / Expected Delivery: 18 July 2026
Days Off: 1 day per week
Additional Support: A night nanny is already in place
Interviews Start: 5 March
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate day-time Maternity Nurse to support a VIP family in Dubai following the birth of their child.
As night care will be covered by a separate nanny, this role will focus on daytime newborn care, routine establishment, and postpartum support for the mother.
The ideal candidate will have strong newborn experience, excellent hygiene standards, and the ability to work calmly and professionally in a private household environment.

Requirements

Newborn Care (Day-Time Duties)
• Daytime care of the newborn including feeding, burping, diaper changes, and bathing
• Supporting and maintaining healthy daytime feeding and sleep routines
• Monitoring wake windows and daytime naps
• Ensuring a safe, calm, and hygienic environment at all times
• Sterilizing bottles, breast pumps, and feeding equipment
• Monitoring the baby’s temperature, comfort, and overall well-being

Postpartum Support
• Supporting the mother physically and emotionally during the postpartum period
• Providing guidance on newborn care, feeding, soothing, and routine development
• Respecting the family’s preferences, routines, and parenting style

Nursery Duties & Baby-Related Tasks
• Keeping the nursery clean, sanitized, and well-organized
• Washing and organizing baby clothes and linens
• Cleaning and organizing baby equipment, toys, and accessories

Child Development & Health Monitoring
• Tracking daytime feeding, sleep patterns, and developmental milestones
• Noticing and reporting any concerns promptly to the parents
• Administering medication only with parental approval
• Being attentive to allergies, sensitivities, or specific health routines

Communication & Professionalism
• Providing regular updates to parents throughout the day
• Maintaining strict confidentiality and respecting the family’s privacy
• Being punctual, reliable, calm, and professional at all times

Rest & Breaks
• Working hours are from 08:00 AM to 08:00 PM
• Breaks will be provided during the day, coordinated around the baby’s routine
• Duties are structured to remain balanced and manageable

Candidate Requirements
• Several years of experience as a Maternity Nurse, Newborn Care Specialist, or similar role
• Relevant certifications preferred, such as:
– First Aid
– CPR
– Newborn Care / Maternity Practitioner Certification
– Lactation support (preferred)
• Fluent in English
• Warm, patient, and knowledgeable in newborn care
• Highly organized, hygienic, and detail-oriented
